Blaxx continues to progress

SOCA artiste Dexter “Blaxx” Stewart continues to progress, his manager Giselle Gellineau-Penrose said to Newsday in WhatsApp responses.

The singer was hospitalised at a private facility last week Tuesday with lung and kidney issues. He remains there.

She said that it is a long road to recovery for him. She added that hopefully, by the end of the week doctors will say when Blaxx would be able to go home.

The official GoFundMe set up for Blaxx has crossed the halfway mark and has now reached US$18, 903 of the US$30,000 goal.

“Again, we are thankful for the overwhelming response and love shown to the icon Blaxx,” Gellineau-Penrose. She added that he is in good spirits.
