Amar: If Mitchell has cocoa in the sun we will expose it
February 20, 2018
CHAIRMAN of More FM 104.7 Robert Amar has written to attorney Michael Quamina informing him that if his client, Housing Minister Randall Mitchell, has "cocoa in the sun" then they will inform the public.
He made the comment in an email to Quamina on Monday in response to a letter threatening legal action concerning the station’s Ground Report programme.
Amar in his email said: "The implied threat judging from the tone of your letter is absolutely unnecessary and as they say if your client has or have cocoa in the sun protect it but once we have facts that can be supported we will inform the public as this is our right."
He also stated that he is very disturbed as a professional that Quamina would either intentionally or by a failure from his office allow the letter addressed to the company More FM to find its way to the internet for public consumption.
"This action is unacceptable especially from someone belonging to the legal profession and (it) questions your confidentially."
