Motorcyclist from San Fernando killed in crash

South Oropouche police are investigating the circumstances of an accident on Thursday night that claimed the life of a 34-year-old motorcyclist.

The police named the dead man as Veron Scott of Embacadere in San Fernando.

A report said the police received a call around 11. 45 pm about an accident at the roundabout near the Shore of Peace (Mosquito Creek) cremation site.

The police responded and saw Scott lying on the ground. A black motorcycle was nearby, stuck underneath a railing facing toward San Fernando.

Scott was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital, where a doctor declared him dead shortly before 1 am on Friday.

Investigations are ongoing.
