CXC candidates get results on Friday

The Caribbean Examination Council’s (CXCs) Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) results for June/July 2021 exams will be released on Friday.

In a release, the council said the release of results ceremony will be held on Thursday in Guyana ahead of the release to candidates.

The event will be held at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre in East Coast Demerara.

Guyana’s Minister of Education Dr Priya Manickchand, Registrar and CEO of CXC Dr Wayne Wesley, and Chief Education Officer Dr Marcel Houston will attend the ceremony.

“Dr Nicole Manning, director of operations – Examinations Services Division, CXC, will report on the administration of this year’s examinations and share highlights of the regional performance outlook for the CAPE, CSEC, Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC), Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) and Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPE).”

CXC said the event will be live streamed on its website cxc.org/cxctv and Guyana’s Ministry of Education website https://education/gov.gy.

CXC exams were held between June and August 2021.
