PDP deputy Augustine gets engaged in style

Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP) deputy leader Farley Augustine put politics aside on Saturday for a fairytale engagement to his sweetheart Ana Nedd.

Augustine, the electoral representative for Parlatuvier/L’Anse Fourmi/Speyside, proposed in style at the romantic Ohana Villa, Bacolet. His girlfriend said yes.

The engagement was organised by Asha Mars-Lewis of Asha Mars Weddings and Events and featured serenading by singer Sharon Phillips and saxophonist Ricardo Seales. Fireworks exploded in the night sky to complete the engagement.

The engagement created a buzz on social media on Saturday with people wishing the couple well and several women saying Augustine set the standard for wedding proposals.
