Southern Division police charged an electrician with five offences which allegedly arose from a shooting incident eight months ago.

Kwasi Jason Forde, 38, was expected to face a San Fernando magistrate on Monday, a police release said.

The male victim was at his home at Pleasantville Circular Left in Pleasantville, where Forde, whom he knows, allegedly accosted him at about 9.55 am on April 10.

The man reported to police that the accused pointed a gun at him and they struggled. Two shots were fired.

The shooter then ran off along a box drain at the side of the victim’s home.
