Claxton Bay murder victim still unidentified

A MAN found murdered on Sunday off the roadside in Claxton Bay remains unidentified with police saying that up to mid-morning on Monday, no one had come forward to try and positively identify him.
Police found the body at about 7. 45 am in a bushy area at Macaulay Road. He appeared to have been shot once in the head with police saying the bullet was fired into his left ear and exited at the back of the head.
The victim who is of African descent has a tattoo on his abdomen of the numbers 1988. He was wearing a pair of black and white Adidas sneakers, a pair of blue denim jeans and a grey T-shirt. Police said the man appeared to be in his 30s.
