Toco ready for Easter weekend

CHAIRMAN of the Sangre Grande Regional Corporation, Terry Rondon, says the beaches and rivers in Toco, from Matelot to Matura, are prepared for use by beachgoers and campers for the long Easter weekend.

He promised a regular TT Police Service and Municipal Police presence in the area with lifeguards on duty and toilet facilities with health centres well equipped and on alert.

Rondon urged everyone to be very careful when going into the sea and rivers, and warned that while there may be drinking of alcohol, to not go into the water or drive while drunk.

He also asked that all visitors to clean up after themselves by using garbage bags to dispose of trash.
