Adams, 19, lived at Piccadilly Street, and his friend at East Dry River.

They were passengers in a blue Mitsubishi Lancer during the lunch-time rush hour when they were approached by a gunman, who fired at the moving car.

The driver of the car, in his attempt to escape, drove west along the one-way Duke Street, before the car collided with the pavement.

Investigations into Duke’s murder were led by acting ASP Suzette Martin and supervised by Insp Arnold Lutchman and Insp Creighton Hudson.
