Sound of silence at the Savannah

OVER two months since Carnival on February 24-25, these vendors' booths at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, still stand in silent memory of Carnival 2020. However, since TT's mas, several other carnivals around the world have been cancelled due to the covid19 pandemic.

Across the road from the booths, the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), has also gone silent as several cultural activities and events have been cancelled, a feature of life in the time of the covid19.
