PLEASANTVILLE Secondary and St Joseph’s Convent Port of Spain booked their spots in the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) Girls Coca-Cola Intercol final after securing contrasting victories in their respective semifinals on December 1.

A hat-trick from in-form striker Nikita Gosine and one each from her sister Natalia and Khairiyah Fortune was more than enough to get past Miracle Ministries 5-1 at Lewis Street in San Fernando. Sydney Pollard scored the lone item for Miracle Ministries.

This result for Pleasantville queues them up for a possible national triple crown from the senior girls’ team having already won the SSFL Girls’ Championships Big 5 and Coca-Cola south zone titles.

Meanwhile, St Joseph’s Convent Port of Spain also affirmed a title shot when they squeezed past San Juan North 1-0 in the other semi-final at the latter’s school grounds.

Pleasantville and St Joseph’s Convent PoS will battle it out for the final trophy of the season at Ato Boldon Stadium in Balmain, Couva, on December 5.
