San Fernando man, 65, found dead at home

THE body of a 65-year-old man was found in his home in San Fernando on August 12.

Roger Derry, of Farrah Street, is believed to have died from natural causes, but an autopsy is expected to be done later in the week to confirm the cause of death.

He was last seen alive on August 8. His body showed signs of decompsition.

Several neighbours complained about an unpleasant smell and called the San Fernando police on August 12.

The police went into the house and found the body in the corridor of the living-room area. They did not find any signs of forced entry.

Investigations are ongoing.
