Massy WCPL roadshows build hype for 2024 tourney

THE buildup to the 2024 Massy Women’s Caribbean Premier League gets under way with three roadshows at Massy stores throughout Trinidad. These roadshow events will give fans an opportunity to meet some of the WCPL stars as well as have photos taken with the WCPL trophy, win prizes and play virtual reality cricket.

All the fun will be hosted by CPL talent search winner Whitney Husbands.

The WCPL bowls off from August 21-29 at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium, Trinidad.

The tournament will feature Trinbago Knight Riders, Barbados Royals and Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Barbados Royals, captained by West Indies superstar Hayley Matthews, are the defending champions. West Indies batter Deandra Dottin will captain the Trinbago Knight Riders. Jamaican Stafanie Taylor will lead the Amazon Warriors.
