PM at Pan in More Beautiful single pan finals

The Prime Minister is expected to attend the Pan is More Beautiful single pan finals at Queen’s Hall, St Ann’s, Port of Spain on July 27.

Dr Rowley is the event’s patron.

The classical pan competition was revived under the Beverley Rasmey-Moore-led Pan Trinbgao administration and is expected to be a biennial event.

There will be ten bands vying for the title, with the reigning single pan Panorama champs having topped the preliminaries.

In an earlier interview with Newsday, Ramsey-Moore said the single pan category had set a very high standard for other categories and participants to follow.

This high standard prompted the pan executive to add two more bands to the finals. Originally, eight bands out of 17 were supposed to move on to the finals, she said.

5.) Trinidad East Side Symphony

6.) Trinidad and Tobago Police Service

7.) Pan Elites

8.) Nostrand Symphony

9.) Scrunters Pan Groove

10.) New Age Trendsetters
