Dezarie returns for Dub Gala on June 29

Mystical reggae icon Dezarie returns to Trinidad on July 29 for Dub Gala; a full concert performance at Belmont Community Centre in Belmont.

The highly sought-after singer, from St Croix, US Virgin Islands, makes her second appearance in Trinidad after last year’s Forward Ever Gala event in south Trinidad.

Known for her unique style of reggae, Dezarie is one of the genre’s most revered female artists She's known for her angelic voice and distinctive delivery and is an ambassador for worldwide women's empowerment.

The popular songbird is favoured for her hypnotic and soul-touching lyrics, produced on uncommon riddims.

Songs such as Strengthen Your Mind, Gracious Mama Africa and Law for the Outlaw are just a few of her globally recognised hits that cast a spell over the listening audience.

Dezarie has released five albums and many hit singles over the years, which earned her the title of queen of contemporary reggae.

Promoters ZBN Network and Steppin Razor Promotions expressed pleasure in bringing the queen of contemporary reggae back to Trinidad for her second trip in as many years.

Her catalogue of righteous songs include Roots & Culture, Ease the Pain and Love in Your Meditation among a host of others.

She also collaborated with unorthodox roots band Midnite, who, despite being formed in Antigua, spent most of their time in St Croix producing soulful reggae.

Dezarie has performed to crowds not only at headliner shows but also at major festivals in Brazil, Europe, the US, and the Caribbean.
