Ministry: Oops! New TTPost head is Hakeem Ahmad

THE Ministry of Public Utilities wants to correct an error its press release last week announcing the recent appointment of a new board at TT Post.

In a press release sent last Wednesday on the recent appointment of the new board, the ministry said the new chairman was Ahmad Hakeem.

In fact his name is Hakeem Ahmad.

"This was an error on our part, for which we sincerely apologise," the ministry aid in a follow-up press release issued on Monday. It also asked for the necessary changes to be made in media reports which used information taken from the ministry's first press release.
