Blaxx still in hospital

Dexter “Blaxx” Stewart is still in hospital and there is no word as to when he might be out, his manager Giselle Gellineau-Penrose told Newsday on Monday.

The soca singer has been hospitalised since October 13 with lung and kidney issues.

In earlier reports, Gellineau-Penrose said the singer was slowly progressing and was happy for the love and support he had received from many people in TT and around the world.

A GoFundMe appeal was set up to assist with his medical expenses. The fund is seeking to raise US$30,000. On Monday, US$19,683 had been raised.
