Jilted lover to pay for scathing attack on ex

A jilted lover who posted scathing, personal and sexually explicit messages of her former partner on light poles, walls and public pavements in St James, when their relationship ended, will now have to pay him close to $.2 million in compensation.

The woman, Radha Rajcoomar, also known as Diviann Rajcoomar, was, earlier this month, ordered by a high court master to compensate engineer Kerwin Cupid.

The total court order for compensation of Master Martha Alexander amounts to $189,385.

According to Alexander “the defamation action found roots in the souring of a love affair that brought the parties to the doors of the court” seeking relief.

She said in her ruling, the words complained about were deeply personal, sexually explicit, voluminous and scathing.
