Santa Cruz man,41, chopped over money

A 41-year-old Santa Cruz man was warded on Thursday in critical condition after being severely chopped by another man in an argument over money.

Around 5.30 pm on Thursday Kurlan George of Stollmeyer Street, Upper Santa Cruz, went to Hobal Trace, Maracas St Joseph, with a man he knew.

They argued about money and the other man attacked George with a cutlass, then ran away.

Eyewitnesses took a bleeding George to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex (EWMSC).

St Joseph police were called and search for the man.
