Don’t give sum stolen

THE EDITOR: With the spiralling crime rate in our country, I suggest that the media stop revealing the amount of money the assailants are able to get from the various places they have robbed.

I would think that idle young thugs will be encouraged to rob a fast food restaurant, a store, or any other type of business place named in a media report if the sum of money taken is attractive.
