IDB’s new Country Rep to speak at Chamber luncheon
THE Inter-American Development Bank’s (IDB) new Country Representative to TT, Rocío Medina-Bolivar, is scheduled to speak at the upcoming TT Chamber of Industry and Commerce (TT Chamber) business luncheon.
Medina-Bolívar “will share insights and global perspectives on economic transformation” at the April 18 event at Hilton Trinidad – the theme of which is Make Bold Moves to Change Your Predictable Outcome.
In announcing the Country Representative’s participation, the TT Chamber noted that Medina-Bolívar manages the IDB’s sovereign and non-sovereign portfolio in this country as well as the bank’s technical assistance initiatives.
“Prior to this assignment, she was IDB’s Senior Advisor for the Andean Group Country Department in Washington DC. (Medina-Bolívar) has extensive experience in public and private sector operations, particularly related to the financing of infrastructure projects, as well as capital market transactions,” the TT Chamber said.
