Massy Stores opens supercentre in Marabella

The Massy Stores supermarket in Gopaul Lands, Marabella has been expanded into a supercentre – it now has 39,000 square feet of retail space. The expanded store has wide aisles to comfortably accommodate shoppers and automated in-store price checkers as well as an extensive parking facility.

In addition, customers will soon be able to purchase their groceries from home or at the office when the store introduces its online shopping portal with a next-day pick up.

The newest Massy Stores SuperCentre is 20,000 square feet larger than the supermarket was. The Massy Group says it now “offers the convenience of one-stop shopping with a butcher counter and a wide range of ready-to-go, bakery, electronics, household, pharmaceutical and personal care items in addition to all of its supermarket offerings.”

Speaking at the ribbon cutting ceremony last Saturday, Senior Vice President and Executive Chairman, Retail Line of Business at the Massy Group, Thomas Pantin, said “This is an opportunity to provide the many residents of this area with exceptional service and a wide array of produce and products that consistently exceed their expectations and requirements at a reasonable price.”

The Marabella supercentre is open from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday to Thursday, from 8 am to 9 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and from 9 am to 4 pm on Sundays.
