Boxill, Quashie flawless at Subway Jr Tennis

Isaiah Boxill made strong start to the Boys Under-10 category with back-to-back wins in the Subway Junior Tennis Tournament yesterday at the Trinidad Country Club, Maraval. Boxill breezed past Ross Wortman 6-0 early yesterday morning and returned to the court in the after noon to sweep aside Adam MacKenzie without dropping a game once again.

Also in ominous form is Jace Quashie in the Boys Under-12 division. Quashie was flawless against Alexander Chin 4-0, 4-0 then made light work of Jason Brathwaite 4-0, 4-1 in his second match on the day.

Leeum Chan Pak prevailed in a testing encounter with Kale Dalla Costa 4-0, 0-4, 13-11 while Alexander Merry defeated Shay Hinkson 1-4, 4-1, 10-5.

In Girls Under-14 action, Shauna Valentine had little trouble vs Daniella Orr 4-0, 4-0; Chelsea Mukerji beat Charlotte Ready 4-2, 4-0; Gabriella MacKenzie got past Isabella D’Aarcy 3-5, 4-0, 10-8.
