Gift For Life Foundation takes children to Fun Splash Park

Gift For Life Foundation (GFLF) once again gave “memories to last a lifetime” to children from different Children’s Homes. On August 22, children from the various children’s homes were taken for a day of fun at the Fun Splash Water Park in Debe. One of the kids from the Wesleyann Home described the day as a “refreshingly fun day.”

The Water Park provided recreational activities for both the caregivers and the children. The kids from the different homes indulged in a wide range of adventurous activities. These activities included kayaking, paddle boating, water slides and the man made waterfalls. Most kids commented that it was one of the happiest days of their two-month vacation period.

Everyone was involved in praying, relaxing, cooking, eating and engaging in a lot of sport/game activities just like in a traditional/ conventional family setting.

GFLF continues to put the interests of underprivileged children ahead and demonstrates selfless love in every action. The Foundation is working very hard to ensure that monthly events become a reality and living experience for children. GFLF is proud to play an immense role in rebuilding self-esteem, self-confidence, interpersonal skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
