'Madman' gunned down in San Juan

Edward 'Madman' Jacob, 64, of LP 91 Febeau Village was gunned down early on Friday morning.

Police said around 6 am they responded to gunshots at Laventille Road, Febeau Village.

They found Jacob with a gunshot wound to the head, while a female companion was shot in the upper chest.

They were both taken to the Eric Williams Medical Science Complex.

Jacob was pronounced dead at 7.09 am.

Investigations are ongoing.
