August badminton tournaments to be live-streamed
The TT Badminton Association (TTBA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with YellarTV and TTGameplan for live-streaming and video production services for its top-flight August competitions.
The Caribbean Regional Badminton Confederation (Carebaco) U11 to U19 tournament serves off from August 17-20 and the Trinidad and Tobago International Tournament from August 22-27, both at the National Racquet Centre in Tacarigua.
A statement by the service providers on Tuesday said under the terms of the MOU, YellarTV and TTGameplan will provide a range of modern services to enhance the viewing experience and capture the essence of these high-intensity matches.
They aim to deliver high-quality 1080p production and live-streaming of all sessions, making it accessible globally.
“The livestream will feature live graphics overlays, seamlessly integrating with the stream to provide viewers with real-time information, scores, and statistics, enhancing their engagement and understanding of the games.”
“To further amplify the reach and impact of the tournaments, TTGameplan will provide live social media content support. This will involve engaging posts, updates, and behind-the-scenes coverage, ensuring an interactive and immersive experience for fans across various social media platforms.”
The statement added that the collaboration aims to set new standards in live-streaming, video production, and digital engagement in the badminton community.
Akhenaton LaBorde, CEO of Yellar Group of Companies, said, “We are thrilled to join forces with the TTBA for these prestigious badminton tournaments. Our cutting-edge streaming services and video-production capabilities will bring the excitement and intensity of the games to viewers worldwide.
“We look forward to capturing all the thrilling moments and providing a memorable experience for badminton enthusiasts.”
