Angostura has been honoured with a national service award for its contributions toward community service and social initiatives across Trinidad and Tobago.

At the award ceremony, hosted by the Ministry of Youth Development and National Service (MYDNS) at the Southern Academy for the Performing Arts (SAPA) on July 30. Angostura was recognised for being “a beacon of excellence and commitment to our country” through its support of education, sports, development, culture and the arts.

The MYDNS National Services Award honours individuals and organisations that go beyond in their efforts of serving their communities, industry and giving back to their country.

Receiving the award, Angostura’s business efficiency and shared services executive manager Rahim Mohammed said, “Angostura is incredibly honoured to receive this National Service Award. Our team is passionate about giving back to the communities. This award is a testament to the hard work and commitment to making a difference.”
