Webinar to highlight top event venues in Trinidad and Tobago
T&T Premier Venues will be the focus of a webinar by TT Music Company Ltd (MusicTT) which will highlight some of top event venues across the country.
This webinar is a "significant step towards promoting the country as a top destination for hosting a diverse range of events, both locally and internationally," Music TT said in a media release.
T&T Premier Venues is set to take place virtually on May 2, at 4.30 pm.
The release said general manager of MusicTT Melissa Jimenez has made connections with over 500 international event producers, some of whom have expressed a keen interest in bringing their events to Trinidad and Tobago.
"Building on this momentum, MusicTT has actively collaborated with large capacity, key venue stakeholders across the country over the past two months," the release said.
MusicTT met with general managers of leading venues such as the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), the Southern Academy for the Performing Arts (SAPA), Naparima Bowl, Queen's Hall, and Shaw Park. The discussions have revealed a shared aspiration among venue managers to promote the resources and opportunities available at their venues to both local and international audiences, the release said.
Jimenez said in the release, "The T&T Premier Venues webinar presents a unique opportunity to spotlight these venues and demonstrate why Trinidad and Tobago is an ideal destination for hosting exceptional music events. I particularly love that many of the pieces that the international organisations desire to stage are highly collaborative providing opportunities not only for revenue generation by local artists but for cultural exchange, networking and professional development of their craft."
The webinar will feature presentations from representatives of NAPA, SAPA, Naparima Bowl, Queen's Hall, Shaw Park, and offer insights into the facilities, amenities, and services available for event hosting – from state-of-the-art performance spaces to scenic outdoor settings, and explore collaboration opportunities with MusicTT and international organisations.
"Through this webinar, we aim to promote collaboration, foster partnerships, and elevate Trinidad and Tobago's profile as a premier event destination."
