Timeless crowned champions of regatta season

TIMELESS emerged as the high points champion of the 2022 National Championship season when the final TT Powerboat Association Regatta was held at TT Yacht Club, Chaguaramas, on Sunday.

Timeless, competing in the 60 mile per hour (mph) G Class, amassed 3,575 points after the fifth and final event.

Timeless also claimed first prize in the G Class finishing ahead of Infusion IV (3,075).

In the new 50mph H Class, Thanos of Tobago won the class with 1,090 points and MTI were a close second with 1,000 points.

Extreme Measures emerged victorious in the 70mph F Class with 3,370 points, ahead of Ketch This (2,185).

Mobil Outlaw won the 80mph E Class with 1,940 points and Blue Ice were second with 1,440 points.

Ironman, the lone entrant in the 120 mph B Class, grabbed 1,060 points.

Motul Monster finished with 620 points to capture the 130 mph A Class and Jumbie ended second with 105 points.

The 2022 Great Race will be held on August 20.
