Rangers, Deportivo to square off in Ascension

TERMINIX LA Horquetta Rangers, the champions of the 2022 Ascension Invitational Football Tournament, will be squaring off against fourth-placed Deportivo Point Fortin on Friday, at the La Horquetta Recreation Ground, Arima.

This match, due to kick off at 8.10 pm, will be the second game of a Round 17 double-header at La Horquetta.

Rangers have tallied 42 points, with two rounds of matches remaining, followed by Defence Force (35), Police (34) and Point Fortin (31).

The first game at La Horquetta will feature AC Port of Spain against Cunupia FC, from 6 pm.

On Saturday, at the Arima Velodrome, Central Soccer World will meet Real West Fort United from 5 pm, and that will be followed by the encounter between Defence Force and Central FC.

Police will entertain cellar-placed Moruga FC in the lone fixture on Sunday, from 5 pm, at the Police Barracks, St James.
