All-terrain wheelchair launched at Wildfowl Trust

The Pointe-a-Pierre Wild Fowl Trust recently hosted the launch of a new specially designed wheelchair, the "Eggie," that gives occupants safe access to many nature trails and frequently visited environmental areas in Trinidad and Tobago.

The wheelchair was provided by Subert Gilbert of the National Centre for Persons with Disabilities, a non-governmental agency that promotes the equalisation of opportunities for people with disabilities through training, information, research and consultative services.
