Covid19 vaccines missing from Couva facility

On Friday, the South-West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) discovered vials of covid19 vaccines were missing from the Couva District Health Facility.

In a press release on Saturday, the SWRHA the reminded people that as a matter of public safety, covid19 vaccines should only be accessed at vaccination sites authorised by the Ministry of Health.

People with any information about the missing vaccines are asked to contact the police.

The incident is currently being investigated.
