Attorney Christlyn Moore has resigned as political leader of the Tobago Forwards.
The party is now being led by Pastor Terrence Baynes, a former temporary senator.
In a statement on Friday, the party said Moore’s resignation took effect from September 30.
It did not give a reason for her resignation but said she has expressed her “continued love and support” for the party.
“Further, she committed herself in the advancing of its ideals in the pursuit of improving the lives of the people of Tobago.”
Moore, a former justice minister in the People’s Partnership administration, became leader of the Tobago Forwards in 2014.
