12 samples sent to CARPHA on Sunday

The Ministry of Health, in its 10 pm update on Sunday, said 12 more samples were sent to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) for covid19 testing on Sunday. That number increased from 2,670 to 2,682 during the course of the day.

No more covid19 cases were reported on Sunday. The number of cases remained at 116 with the most recent positive test result reported on April 21.

The number of deaths owing to the virus remained unchanged at eight with the last such death being reported on April 6 while 107 patients have recovered from the virus and have been discharged.

One low-risk patient remains in stable condition at the Caura Hospital.
