Auditon Spirit coming

WORKS and Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan said on Tuesday in the Senate that the tender for a firm to do an audit on the fast ferry TT Spirit’s repairs, is being evaluated. Sinanan said the firm should be engaged within the next month. The audit will take six to eight weeks.

On another matter, Sinanan said the Valuation Division is still in discussion with land owners who will be affected by the construction of the Curepe flyover.

As such, Sinanan said the question of underpayment does not arise.

He also said preliminary work leading to the construction of a pedestrian overpass in the Morne Coco, Four Roads, Diego Martin area are being done by the ministry’s PURE unit.
