Same old stories from politicians

THE EDITOR: It would now appear that despite many good suggestions on various matters in letters from the public to the local newspapers, which must be seen by our politicians, no notice is taken whatsoever by them.

Our politicians are still prepared to pitter-patter along the same old unrewarding road, maintaining the same mental attitude to our woes, which are just passed on from one administration to the next decade after decade without any real or lasting solutions.

Some of the problems that are apparent now were first reported decades ago. However, they are still with us but have become worse and still there is no real interest in finding the correct solutions.

Politicians are still only offering lip service as usual. We still hear the same old stories.
