Rat infestation problem at school solved
Education Minister Anthony Garcia has assured St Augustine MP Prakash Ramadhar that a rat infestation problem at the Curepe Presbyterian School, “has been resolved.”
Garcia gave this assurance in response to a question from Ramadhar in the House of Representatives on last Friday. He said the school is among several scheduled for priority attention in 2018, as regards infrastructural improvements. Garcia said he has not received reports of anyone at that school contracting leptospirosis.
In response to another question from Couva North MP Ramona Ramdial, Garcia said interviews will soon commence for Early Childhood Care and Education teachers. Later in the sitting, Garcia said talks are ongoing with respect to the provision of additional funding to the University of TT.
