More guns seized

A Diego Martin man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a Kel Tec semi automatic rifle, a Rossi revolver, a Glock pistol and a quantity of assorted ammunition on Wednesday.

Police said members of the Western Division Task Force executed a search warrant at the home of the 29-year-old man on Tomato Drive, Diego Martin. They found the guns behind a refrigerator at the house.

Two Carenage men were also arrested by Western Division police for being in possession of a revolver.

Police say they conducted an exercise between 11.40 pm on Wednesday and 2.30 am on Thursday. During the exercise they stopped and searched a blue Nissan Primera car, along Lady Young Road, when they found the gun. The two occupants of the car are from Big Yard, Carenage.
