[UPDATED] La Lune man stabbed to death on Christmas night

A stabbing on Christmas night at La Lune Village in Moruga has left a 27-year-old man dead and another in police custody.

Police report that at about 8.30 pm on Friday, the victim, Keveon Julien, and a group of men had an altercation on the roadside at La Lune Road, and one of the men stabbed him. He managed to run to the nearby home of his girlfriend, where he collapsed and died. No one else was injured and the group left. Police said Julien, who lived nearby, was a father of one and a gardener. Police later arrested a man who is said to be from Diego Martin. The suspect is assisting Homicide Bureau and Moruga police with the investigation.

Police report that at about 8.30 pm on Friday, the victim, Keveon Julien, and a group of men had an altercation at his home on La Lune Road, and one of the men stabbed him. Julien died at the scene.

No one else was injured and the group left.

Moruga police as well as officers from the Homicide Bureau Region III visited. Investigations are continuing.
