Bridge relief

THE EDITOR: My profound gratitude to Minister of Works Rohan Sinanan on behalf of the residents of Matelot for carrying out urgent repairs to the Matelot Road.

The road was closed on Friday evening and within 24 hours a Bailey bridge was installed and the road became passable once more.

Kudos to the ministry staff who worked tirelessly over the weekend to bring relief to residents of this so-called rural community.

The minister is a man of his word. Thank you once more.
