WASA will replace the water tank in Tobago where the bodies of Sarah Smith and her children Genuine and Phoenix were found.

Responding to a question about the tank at a press conference on September 26, at the Ministry of Public Utilities in St Clair, WASA's acting CEO Kelvin Romain said, "Part of our stabilisation initiative is to instal storage facilities throughout the country, so we would be looking at replacing various tanks and that one (the tank in Tobago) should be included."

Romain said the tank had been properly secured before the incident.

According to reports, Smith, 33, Genuine, three, and Phoenix, one, were found dead at about 5.30 pm on September 11, inside the steel water tank in Parlatuvier.
Autopsies on the bodies have not yet been done.
