Man found dead in Debe

POLICE are investigating a death after they discovered the body of an unidentified man at a vegetable stall early on July 31.

Reports said officers were on mobile patrol along the SS Erin Road, Debe near Rahimville Road around 1.30 am when they saw the man at the stall.

District medical officer Dr Dhansingh pronounced him dead. The body was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital's mortuary pending an autopsy.

PC Ramroop is continuing enquiries. The man is thought to have taken his own life.
