Patriotic Front unveils 7 more general election candidates

POLITICAL leader of the Patriotic Front Mickela Panday, has announced her party's next batch of candidates for the upcoming 2025 general elections via Facebook, bringing her party’s number of selected candidates to 14.

In May 2024, Panday said the party would contest all 41 seats.

In a statement on March 10, Panday said the new picks were, "A fearless set of leaders and innovators is ready to serve."

She said they were "not career politicians, but problem-solvers, educators, entrepreneurs, health-care specialists and community builders."

Previously, on February 9, Panday announced seven candidates. At that time, she expressed pride in announcing that first batch, calling them "strong and dedicated" candidates who were ready to serve Trinidad and Tobago with integrity and action.

The party added that its candidates were leaders who will fight for real change and work for everyone.
