Tobago man shot, wounded after trying to stop argument
A 36-year-old man from Signal Hill, Tobago was shot and wounded early on Saturday morning.
Police said around 4.17 am on December 14, the victim received a distress call from a woman and went to Zatara Escapes Villa in Mt Pelier, Scarborough.
When he arrived, he heard arguing coming from a bedroom upstairs and saw a man arguing with the woman.
Police said the victim approached the man and tried to calm the situation, but the man went downstairs.
The victim went after the man, who then took a gun and shot the victim, who collapsed.
The man who shot him took him to hospital, in a white Toyota Aqua. The victim was in and out of consciousness.
Police said the man who shot the victim also threatened him before driving off.
The victim was listed in a stable condition and was awaiting surgery.
