Business owner uses Apple Air Tag to find stolen car
A car rental business owner used an Apple Air Tag to find one of his cars after it was stolen.
The man rented a white Hyundai Accent to a Morvant woman who told police she parked it outside her home around 9 pm on November 9 and locked all the doors and windows.
At 6.30 am the next day she realised the car was missing.
The woman called the car rental owner and he told her to report the theft to the police.
Five hours later, the business owner called the police and told them he tracked the car using an Apple Air tag tracking device and went to Saddle Road, Maraval where he recovered it.
The car was towed to the Morvant police station where it was processed and photographed it for evidential purposes.
