Sport minister mourns flagman Joey "Posh" Richardson

MINISTER of Sport and Community Development Shamfa Cudjoe-Lewis sent condolences following the death of popular flagman Joey "Posh" Richardson.

"I am saddened by the loss of one of TT's biggest supporters of sports and athletes. His commitment to the red, white and black was unmatched," Cudjoe-Lewis said in a media release. "Our local sporting landscape was certainly made richer by his unconditional love for our athletes and all things Team TTO."

Richardson was a staple at all major sporting events in TT, and even took his support internationally.

Richardson would typically be dressed in TT colours, with red being the dominant colour. He would always have a massive national flag with him.
