Young meets with DeNovo

Minister of Energy Stuart Young met with executives of DeNovo Energy Ltd at the ministry’s office at the International Waterfront Complex, Port of Spain, on July 9.

In a media release on Wednesday, the ministry said DeNovo executives expressed interest in more investments into TT’s energy sector, having already invested in the Iguana and Zandolie projects.

They discussed specific projects they wish to pursue to increase upstream gas production.

The Zandolie project was recognised for its 100 per cent renewable-powered platform and the maximisation of local content for construction and drilling.

Young encouraged them to prioritise their efforts. He also commended the organisation for its focus on monetising proven natural gas reserves in a safe and sustainable manner.
