Why we cannot trust the police

THE EDITOR: According to the Sunday Express, a businessman went to the police to report that someone was trying to extort $30,000 and ten pairs of sneakers from him.

Instead of setting up a sting operation, what did the police do? They went straight to the media and reported it.

Now that businessman's life and that of his family are in extreme danger due to the absolute dotishness of some police officers.

Was anyone arrested?

Why would a businessman trust the police if this is the action taken?
