Robinson-Regis in good spirits after surgery
Planning and Development Minister Camille Robinson-Regis is a good spirits after having surgery recently.
Speaking to Sunday Newsday, Communication Minister Symon de Nobriga said, “I can tell you that I have been communicating with Minister Robinson-Regis and in those communications she seems to be in great spirits.”
A release from the Office of the Prime Minister on Thursday it was announced that Robinson-Regis had surgery and was on extended sick leave while she recuperated. It went on to say that, in addition to her normal duties, Senator Allyson West would act as Minister of Planning and Development from Thursday until Robinson-Regis returned to work.
On her Facebook page on Wednesday, Robinson-Regis posted a prayer that seemed to indicate she was having health problems. It said, “O God of all creation, your healing power is not for a privileged few but for all your people. Help me to understand and accept the all inclusive nature of that love O God, because that’s difficult at times, and I thank you that my ways are not your ways O God.”
Then, on Friday, she posted another prayer thanking God for the "gift of a new day" and the opportunity to right past wrongs.
