PM undergoes heart procedure
The Prime Minister underwent an angiogram and a subsequent angioplasty at the West Shore Medical Private Hospital on Saturday, according to the latest statement from the Office of the Prime Minister.
It said Dr Rowley will be kept overnight for further observation and is medical procedure went well.
Angioplasty is a medical procedure used open up clogged arteries of the heart, according to online medical journals.
The release said Rowley was resting comfortably and under the care of his doctors and medical team.
Rowley went to the West Shore Medical Hospital on Friday afternoon after experiencing discomfort.
